{"product_id":"nine-discourses-on-commodus-part-v-by-cy-twombly-poster","title":"Nine Discourses On Commodus - Part V by Cy Twombly - Poster","description":"After abstract expressionism peaked, a quieter mood took hold in American painting, and Cy Twombly brought it to Italy. Nine Discourses On Commodus, Part V follows that path, dragged strokes over grey, some blurring where one pass meets another.\n\nThe poster is trimmed with no printed border, so the image fills the sheet edge to edge. A picture built from tone suits that treatment, because a white band would split the surface.\n\nPortrait shape fits the narrow wall in a hallway, between two door frames. It hangs at eye level. Morning light from a side window keeps the grey even, and the strokes read as handwriting from two steps away.","brand":"CY","offers":[{"title":"40x60 cm \/ 16x24″","offer_id":50600477458651,"sku":"be0855df-b39b-4a33-bc4f-f5ccddd1a6a0","price":138.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true},{"title":"60x90 cm \/ 24x36″","offer_id":50600477491419,"sku":"41583594-b2a6-4b2c-8768-98ed00575c52","price":199.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0854\/4790\/1403\/files\/de040aa7-8ebf-4c0c-a5b7-6146ad45f318.jpg?v=1791485644","url":"https:\/\/cytwomblypaintings.com\/products\/nine-discourses-on-commodus-part-v-by-cy-twombly-poster","provider":"CY","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
