Iii Notes From Salalah (note I)

Salalah sits on the coast of Oman. That is far from the Italy where Cy Twombly lived, and III Notes from Salalah (note I) sounds like jottings sent home. The marks seem to be doing the same, taking notes, one loose thought at a time. The hangers hold the paper at the top, so it stands a little proud of the wall and moves in a draught. Swapping prints takes seconds, which suits a set of three notes. An entryway works, hung low enough to catch the air from the door. The print stirs in the moving air, and the jotted marks stir with it.
