Leaving Paphos Ringed With Waves Iv

At a distance, Leaving Paphos Ringed With Waves Iv by Cy Twombly settles into a few long curls spaced down the full height. Closer in, the scrawl takes over: stops, restarts, and places where a stroke thins to a scratch. Neither view cancels the other. The framed poster comes in oak or ash, responsibly sourced, each length carrying its own grain. At 20mm thick and 20mm wide, it holds more weight than a slim frame and steadies the tall format. A hallway that ends in a window is a good spot. The oak grain picks up evening light, and from three meters back the curls line up like a single wave falling.
