About Camino Real (iv)

Fast scrawled lines carry Camino Real (iv), in the working habit of Cy Twombly: pencil, crayon and paint often used side by side, each stroke done in one pass and left looking unfinished. The hand behind the line stays visible. Printed on canvas, a heavy cotton and polyester blend stretched over FSC certified wood stretcher bars. The firm surface suits the picture: wide sweeps keep their shape, and the weave sits quietly behind the strokes. It belongs above a low desk in a study, or over a sideboard. From the chair you notice the spacing of the marks, some bunched together, some left on their own across the surface.

Measure the wall space and pick a size that covers about two thirds of it, or of the furniture below. If you are torn between two sizes, the larger one usually looks better.

Visitors in the US and Canada see standard inch sizes. Everyone else sees metric sizes. Both are printed to exact dimensions.
